Sara Osborne LPC, LADC
My clinical approach combines psychodyamic based interventions with other evidence based therapies including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solutions focused therapy (SFT), motivational interviewing, narrative therapy based approaches and EMDR. Each client has unique needs and goals when entering therapy which is why I use a combination of therapeutic approaches depending on the given client. I feel that multiple approaches can be interwoven over time to achieve the best possible outcome. I also value examining the various family and relational systems that exist in our lives that may be contributing to a pattern you would like to change.
Outside of the therapeutic space, I am a 200hr RYT which allows me to integrate unique somatic and body based practices into my work when needed. I am also a trained Y12SR facilitator where we focus on the idea that “the issues live in the tissues” and remembering this can help us to return to ourselves and really get at the root of what is causing our struggle.
My journey has allowed me the opportunity to work with clients ranging in age from Pre-K to older adults in individual and group settings and I have supervisory experience in program development, outpatient treatment and residential treatment levels of care.
