EMDR THERAPY
Healing Trauma
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a specialized therapy used in helping clients heal and move forward after having experienced traumatic or especially distressing events. As an EMDRIA Certified Therapist, I integrate this technique into sessions when working with clients with a wide range of diagnoses including anxiety disorders, depressive disorders and post traumatic stress disorders.

This is an effective approach that I use with individuals with complex to acute trauma histories. I also often meet with individuals for brief EMDR therapy as a supplement to their regular weekly mental health treatment. When meeting with someone for brief EMDR therapy, clients can expect to meet for about 10-15 sessions in total, before reevaluating the individual plan specific to EMDR.
